Missed call

I just returned a missed call from an unfamiliar number. A little kid answered.

‘Who is it?’ 

‘Tim Holland.’

‘We don’t know you.’

I start to explain that I’m returning a missed call, but he hangs up.

A few seconds later, the kid rings back. 

‘Sorry we hung up.’ 

‘That’s okay.’

Second little kid in the background: ‘What does he want?’

‘What did you say you wanted?’

‘I was just returning a missed call.’

Second little kid in the background: ‘I think we called him by mistake!’

‘I think we called you by mistake.’

‘That’s fine.’

Second little kid in the background: ‘We don’t know him!’

‘We don’t know you.’

‘Yep. No worries …’

Phone hangs up.
